This sweet Alabama girl made quite the journey to safety! Cleo arrived at ARF after being flown to New York ahead of Hurricane Isasis, helping make room for more dogs in need after the storm. Now this little Southern sweetheart is ready to leave those stormy days behind and find a forever home where sunny skies and sweet days are ahead! Cleo may be a little shy when you first meet her, but this girl is already showin’ us that there’s a whole lot of sweetness tucked beneath that timid exterior! Since arriving she’s been slowly coming out of her shell, finding her confidence one little step at a time. And let us tell ya, watching her blossom has been sweeter than a glass of sweet tea on a hot Alabama afternoon! She’s still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place, so Cleo will need a patient family who’s willing to let her set the pace. She may need a little time to warm up, but every brave little step is a reminder that she’s getting there - and she's hoping her next stop will be her forever home!
