Community Giving Challenge

One gift. Twice the life-saving power. Now through May 9, all donations will be matched up to $50,000, doubling your impact for animals in need, thanks to Richard Wells McCabe.

Dear Friends,

In memory of his beloved dog, Chipper, and inspired by a lifetime of companionship, ARF supporter Dick McCabe is sponsoring a $50,000 challenge match. His hope is simple: that more animals can find homes, and more families can experience that same love.

Dick understands something many of us know in our hearts; the companionship of a dog (or cat) is unlike anything else. Throughout his life, his dogs were a constant source of comfort, loyalty, and joy, part of his everyday moments, his routines, and his sense of home.

At ARF, that’s what we make possible. By saying yes to animals others turn away, those who need extra care, time, and understanding, we’re able to match them with the people who will see them not for their challenges, but for who they are. When that connection happens, it changes everything.

We provide exceptional quality care, vital medical intervention, and comprehensive training to give every animal a real path to adoption. We hold ourselves to the highest standard because they deserve nothing less.

Just as important is the work we do to keep pets and families together. This past year, we expanded low-cost spay/neuter services, increased access to affordable vaccines, partnered with local food pantries to provide pet food and supplies, and worked with students through humane education programs so no one has to choose between caring for their family and keeping the pet they love.

Community Giving Week is your moment to act. Please make your gift today. Every donation will be matched, up to $50,000 - doubling your impact for animals and the people who love them.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Kimberly J. Nichols
