Our extremely popular and affordable dog obedience classes help strengthen the bond between dog and owner and help prevent people from giving up their dogs because of poor behavior.

Dogs and their handlers will learn basic obedience using positive reinforcement techniques. Curriculum includes Leash Handling, Let's Go, Turning Techniques, Stay/Stand, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Leave It, Come, No Jumping and Leash Pulling Prevention Exercises.
When: Saturday Mornings 9-10am INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
10-11am BASIC OBEDIENCE
(Rain dates are on Sunday)
Where: ARF Adoption Center, 90 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott
Tuition: $125 for Five Classes ($100 for ARF dogs adopted within the last 12 months)

Build the bond of trust between you and your dog while getting great exercise! Dogs and their handlers will work their way through the A Frame, weave polls and jumps plus tire jumping.
When: Sundays 9am- 10:30am
Where: ARF Adoption Center, 90 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott
Tuition: $120 for Four Classes ($100 for ARF dogs adopted in the past 12 months)

WHAT TO BRING
- 6 foot long leash, not wider than one inch. No Flexi Leads allowed!
- Collar that fits the dog securely. Leashes and collars will be available for purchase at the first class.
- Appropriate footwear. No sandals please!
Note: Group Classes are not usually suitable for dogs that have serious behavior problems, such as aggression toward people and/or other dogs. ARF reserves the right to dismiss any dog that is disruptive and/or cannot be handled during class. Sorry, no refunds.
