little bear's journey

Born in the wild in Montauk, Little Bear and his sibling did not enter this world easily. A congenital deformity left them both with underdeveloped eyes causing permanent blindness. When a kindly OP Cat volunteer found the two kittens, one had died, but Little Bear crawled to her. He was very sick and in addition to his sad eyes, he was infested with worms and ear mites. For two months, the volunteer nursed him back to health. She was amazed and touched by his zest for life as he overcame his blindness and played boldly with her cats. Now Little Bear is five months old and at ARF waiting to be adopted. He is healthy, litter trained, neutered and ready for his forever home! Please find a place in your heart for this amazing kitten. He loves to be held, to purr and to play.
