$200,000 Challenge Grant Expires April 10, 2009
The ARF website had to undergo maintenance and precluded many people from making online gifts, so the deadline to double your donation has been extended to April 10. Make a donation by April 10 and it will be doubled automatically! That's right: Make a gift of $50 and ARF will receive $100. Some very generous donors issued this special challenge grant to help get ARF through the winter. Please make a gift of any amount to help us reach our goal of $200,000. Your gift will pay for nutritious food, a warm place to sleep and excellent veterinary care. Together we can save more cats and dogs and find loving homes for them!
Benches and Bricks!
They're going fast! Imagine a friend's delight to learn that a bench or a brick honoring her beloved cat or dog will be placed at the ARF Adoption Center. Either is truly the gift that keeps on giving because your donation goes to ARF's Securing our Future Endowment Campaign, which provides for future generations of ARF cats and dogs. It's a meaningful way to pay tribute to a two- or four-legged friend and it's permanent.
BENCHES: Eight have been sold and there are only four left. A beautiful plaque will be engraved and mounted on your bench, which will be placed on the wooded grounds of the Adoption Center. To carry out our essential programs, ARF relies entirely on private donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. Here are other ways you can make a tax deductible gift to ARF.
Membership Gift
You can become a member of ARF for $25. You'll receive your official ARF membership card and decal, our informative newsletter, as well as a 10% discount at our thrift shops for one year. You'll also receive invitations to our fundraisers and other events. These are all great benefits, but the biggest and best benefit is knowing you are helping us care for the puppies, dogs, kittens and cats who come through our doors every day.
Memorial Donation
A memorial gift is a thoughtful and touching way to remember a cat, dog or animal lover. If you give us the name of the family, we'll send a special acknowledgement card to them.
Matching Gift
Double the amount of your donation! Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program.
Planned Giving
Whether it's an outright bequest, a charitable remainder trust or a corporate stock donation, there are many ways to make a substantial gift to ARF. Call Sara Davison at ARF to discuss available opportunities. All calls are confidential.
