Do the Walk!
On Saturday, October 9, strut your mutt or parade your pedigree in the Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk, benefiting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and the East Hampton Historical Society. Enjoy a scenic, two-mile stroll from the historic Mulford Farm Museum to Main Beach and back. You and your pooch will walk through the heart of East Hampton Village on Ocean Avenue, taking in beautiful views along the way. Plenty of water will be available for people and pets.

Do You Look Like Your Dog?
 Enter the Dog/Owner Look-Alike Contest immediately after the walk. The winners will be determined by the applause from the audience. All children win a prize. Woof!
How to Participate
1. Register Today. Everyone is welcome! Simply complete the registration form and e-mail it with your registration fee to ARF. Official Stroll to the Sea t-shirts are provided to all registrants.
2. Collect Pledges. Don't stop with your registration fee! The money you raise helps us care and find homes for even more cats and dogs. Print out the pledge form and start collecting pledges from your friends, family and co-workers.
3. Be there! Go to the Registration Area between 9:00 and 9:45am at Mulford Farm. There will be FREE PARKING on the back lawn of the Farm, accessible through the St. Lukes parking lot. Drop off your pledge money and pick up your t-shirt and number for your dog.
Great Prizes for Adult Fundraisers...
Each participant who collects $100 in pledges receives a pair of versace sunglasses.
 First Prize: Your dog in a classic Hamptons beach scene painted by local artist Carol Saxe. The perfect way to immortalize your pooch!
Second Prize: A complete car-detailing package worth $500 provided by Executive Detailing of the Hamptons. A professional will come to your home and make your car sparkle inside and out. (And get rid of the dog hair, too!)
Third Prize: A $100 gift certificate and gift basket courtesy of One Stop Pet Shops. A great place to load up on pet food and accessories.
…and Children Under 16!
First Prize: Two tickets to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in February 2005. Includes transportation from the South Fork, courtesy of the Hampton Jitney.
Winners will be announced and prizes distributed immediately following the walk.
Event Guidelines
Please follow these guidelines so that everybody has a safe and happy walk.
- All dogs must have an up-to-date rabies vaccination.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs. Please bring appropriate supplies.
- Dogs not suited for the event, including dogs in heat & unruly dogs, will not
be allowed to participate.
- Dogs must always be leashed. The leash must not be longer than 6 feet.
- There is a limit of two dogs per person.
